Bottle Shop Attendant – Outback Queensland
Exciting opportunity: Work in an owner‑operated venue in the heart of Outback Queensland with a supportive team of 10 staff, all living on‑site.
Position Overview
* Start date: ASAP
* Hourly rate:
o $33.38 per hour (Mon‑Fri)
o $40.05 per hour (Saturday)
o $46.73 per hour (Sunday)
* Accommodation: Private room with shared bathroom, $100 per week, located upstairs in the hotel.
* Meals: 50% off meals.
* Living on‑site: Immersed in a friendly work environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assist customers with alcohol purchases, manage the cash register, and ensure smooth transactions.
* Set up eye‑catching displays and keep the store looking great.
* Unload and unpack stock to keep shelves stocked and ready for customers.
* Provide top‑notch customer service and be the friendly face of the venue.
* Help out in other departments when needed – flexible, dynamic role.
What We're Looking For
* Ideal experience: Remote area experience preferred but not required.
* Work ethic: A strong work ethic is a must – dedication is key.
* Current RSA: Responsible Service of Alcohol certification required.
* Physical strength: Ability to handle heavy boxes and stock with ease.
* Commitment: Minimum 6 months stay.
