Based in Broken Hill, Clive Bishop Medical Centre (CBMC)opened in 2014 with a vision to deliver accessible, in-town medical care forresidents living on properties and in remote communities surrounding the area.Since then, CBMC has grown into a thriving practice, servicing the Broken Hilltownship and surrounding regions. About the Opportunity:
This role is responsible for the overall management ofClive Bishop Medical Centre. You will lead the delivery of administrative andclinical support services, manage financial and accounting processes, andensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements to support thesmooth operation of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily practice operations, includingscheduling, billing, financial processes, and occupational health & safety.
* Lead financial management, including budgeting,PIP/WIP compliance, billing optimisation, reconciliations, and revenuereporting.
* Manage implementation, training, andmaintenance of practice software and technology, ensuring it meets operationalneeds and regulatory compliance.
* Ensure compliance with accreditationrequirements, RACGP standards, infection control protocols, ISO systems, andcold chain management.
* Coordinate GP and Registrar training,accreditation, placements, and onboarding.
* Drive quality improvement initiatives, serviceinnovation, and strategic growth opportunities.
* Lead and support clinical and administrativeteams, providing guidance, mentorship, and day-to-day oversight.
* Manage ordering, stock control, dangerousgoods, vaccines, consumables, and equipment maintenance.
* Develop and maintain relationships withstakeholders including communities, practice staff, GPs, and funding bodies.
* Address patient needs, feedback, and complaintsto ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Resolve operational issues promptly and ensureeffective systems and processes are in place.
* Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold allpractice policies and regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrated experience in healthcare officemanagement
* Strong financial and accounting capability
* High-level organisational, problem-solving, andtime management skills
* Knowledge of accreditation processes andhealthcare systems
* Ability to manage complex services acrossdispersed environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholderengagement skills
* Proficiency in MS Office and electronic medicalrecord systems
