About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Data Protection Specialist to maintain our infrastructure's stability, performance, and security across defence-aligned environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
* Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and configurations
* Perform regular backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning
* Maintain database security policies, access controls, and compliance standards
In addition to database administration tasks, you'll also be responsible for system administration duties such as managing Windows and Linux server environments, monitoring system performance, and installing software updates. Strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset are required to support our mission-critical systems.
