Project Officer, Uni Prep
Monash University is committed to increasing participation of students from under‐represented communities. To support this mission, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Officer, Uni Prep to plan, coordinate and deliver the new Monash University Preparedness Program, supporting program activities, events and resources that aid students on their university journey.
Location: Clayton campus
Employment Type: Full-time
Duration: 12-month fixed‐term appointment
Remuneration: $100,155 – $108,106 per annum under HEW 06 (plus 17% employer superannuation).
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver programs, activities and events, managing multiple priorities and timelines.
* Build effective relationships with schools, students and internal stakeholders, delivering engaging presentations.
* Provide administrative and operational support, including project planning, data collection and reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
* Analyse data and contribute to continuous improvement and program development and planning.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate and deliver programs, activities and events with strong organisational skills.
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to build effective relationships with schools, students and internal stakeholders, and deliver engaging presentations.
* Proven ability to provide administrative and operational support, including project planning, data collection and reporting, and maintaining accurate systems and records.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to contribute to continuous improvement and program development and planning.
* Demonstrated understanding of issues related to increasing participation in higher education of under‐represented groups.
* Recent experience and understanding of school communities or other educational environments, preferably within an Australian context.
