Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team in one of Tasmania's most advanced timber processing facilities. The roll involves working across our warehouse and timber yard, supporting daily loading, unloading and material handling operations, whilst maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate forklifts safely in a warehouse and timber yard environment
* Load and unload timber products from trucks and shipping containers
* Move, stack, and store timber and related products efficiently
* Assist with general yard and warehouse duties/orders picking as required
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with WHS regulations
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
Requirements:
* Current LF Forklift Licence (mandatory)
* Previous experience in the timber forklift operations preferred, not
* Experience loading and unloading trucks and containers
* Strong understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS) practices
* Physically fit and capable of working both indoor and outdoor yard environment
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
* National Police check may be requested
