Assess customers current and future health, safety and independence requirements and identify solutions for appropriate housing and modifications.
What you will be doing :
* Provide specialist occupational therapy assessment, expertise and advice for customers requiring home modifications, transfers, tenancy management or housing assistance.
* Work closely with allied health or other service partners to flexibly deliver services to customers on-line, by telephone or in person with a focus on safety, service excellence and quality outcomes.
* Contribute to the design and review of new accessible social housing properties.
* Prepare and maintain high quality reports and customer records consistent with departmental and professional requirements.
Mandatory Requirements : Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised tertiary institution and be registered or eligible for registration with the Occupational
Therapy Board of Australia, Class C Drivers Licence.
