About the Role Looking for a Financial Crime loving person to join team as a Customer Onboarding Team Leader, Brisbane based.
You'll play a crucial role in welcoming new Non-Individual and Individual customers to BOQ.
Working in a flexible 50/50 hybrid model, your main goal will be to ensure that all customers are correctly identified according to our KYC standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
In this role, you'll oversee a team of onboarding specialists, guiding and coaching them to meet daily targets and maintain high-quality standards.
You'll ensure that all bank policies and regulatory obligations are met, and you'll be the go-to person for any complex client profiles or issues that need escalation.
Your leadership will be key in motivating the team, managing performance, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
You'll also engage with key stakeholders to improve procedures and ensure timely, accurate, and efficient completion of KYC/Customer Due Diligence in line with our AML program.About you We're looking for someone with proven experience in working collaboratively in managing a team, experience in the financial industry is preferred but in no way necessary.
Operational leadership skills to handle changing workflows and priorities is a must.
Experience in AML/ CFT & KYC obligations for both individual and non-individual customer onboarding is a plus.
