The position of Quality Manager, Patient Safety and Quality Service provides leadership, coordination and guidance in patient safety and quality by enabling and supporting operational and strategic organisational/service goals which support the development of a workforce culture of safety and reliability and optimise patient/program outcomes.
About The Team
The CHQ Patient and Safety Service (PSQS) is committed to the provision of high quality, sustainable clinical services which align with CHQ's vision and values and commitment to offer the best: safe, expert, accessible child and family-centred care for children and young people. PSQS provides operational support to build capacity among leaders and front-line staff and influence the development of effective high performing microsystems and teams. PSQS promotes and fosters a culture of safety and reliability, leads assurance processes and supports the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of patient safety and quality systems which facilitate clinical governance and continuous quality improvement across the organisation.
About The Role
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values.
You'll fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015 - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7 and the Queensland Health and Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQHHS) commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
