About the opportunity
There is currently one (1) permanent position and two (2) fixed term contract positions available for immediate filling.

The Commission is seeking Senior Regional Development Officers to play a key role in driving economic growth, enhancing regional liveability, and shaping the future of the Pilbara. This project portfolio is responsible for promoting local job creation, new industry development, economic research, social wellbeing and community infrastructure.
You will combine strong project delivery capability and analytical skills with the ability to build and manage productive relationships across government, industry, business, community and Aboriginal organisations. Working collaboratively, you will help deliver initiatives that support sustainable development and long-term prosperity for the region.
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate:
* Proven experience in regional development, economic development or related fields
* Demonstrated experience in project delivery
* Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship-management skills
* Experience in regional, economic or community development
* Proven stakeholder engagement capability
