Remuneration: $69.14 - $71.01 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging

Location: Maitland Hospital

Employment Type: Permanent and Temporary (Until March 2027) Part Time hours available

Hours Per Week: 24 Permanent hours + 14 Temporary hours (Until March 2027)

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Grade 3 Oncology Pharmacist to join our dynamic and supportive pharmacy team.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide clinical expertise and leadership in the delivery and ongoing development of a clinical pharmacy service for people attending the Cancer Centre at Maitland Hospital. Working closely with both the pharmacy team and the oncology team, you will play a key role in supporting high-quality patient care within a modern healthcare facility.

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, you will contribute to the provision of optimum pharmaceutical services within Cancer Services. This includes clinical pharmacy services, manufacturing, drug information, dispensing, patient counselling, and the education of both patients and staff.

This opportunity includes permanent and temporary part-time hours, which can be combined to create a full-time position for the successful candidate.

Requirements

Current full and unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a PharmacistAt least 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience with extensive clinical pharmacy skills. This may include postgraduate study in Oncology, detailed knowledge of Oncology/Haematology medicines including PBS criteria, membership of a relevant professional organisation and willingness to undertake further trainingCurrent driver's licence and willingness to travel to HNELHD facilities as required
