Join our dedicated team at Bunbury Regional Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Manager for our Paediatric Ward, a 12-bed facility that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to young patients. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate services, operations, and resources effectively, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical and medical services that meet the needs of the local community. As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be integral to providing clinical leadership, developing systems for service efficiency, and fostering collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in the clinical roster and provide leadership and governance for the Paediatric Ward and its team.
* Develop and implement systems and processes to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of services provided.
* Build and maintain working relationships with care providers and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Ensure the effective management and delivery of hospital services in accordance with budget and quality requirements.
* Conduct research and prepare detailed reports and strategies for local health service planning.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in managing a Paediatric Ward, focusing on financial, staffing, and clinical resource management.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in facilitating complex change management processes.
* Thorough understanding of current public sector health system issues, particularly in regional and rural contexts.
* Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
* Familiarity with contemporary quality and risk management principles along with current legislative and regulatory requirements.
