As a Research Associate, you will play a key role in executing the project "Genetics for next generation orchards". This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to cutting-edge research and development of sustainable solutions for food, forestry, and fibre production.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake experiments within the research program, including molecular experiments and data analysis.
* Conduct genetic/genomic analyses of throughput genotyping/sequencing and phenotypic data.
* Map traits and conduct functional genomics studies.
* Develop and utilise genomic prediction models.
* Process, analyse, and archive large scale genomic/sequencing datasets.
* Communicate findings through reports, presentations, posters, and publications.
