The Wealth and Private (W&P) team resides within RBS. The purpose of the W&P business is to deliver propositions that help our High Net Worth and everyday Australian customers to grow, manage and protect their wealth.
Your Impact
The role will provide dedicated support to the Wealth and Private (W&P) Domain. The W&P Domain is responsible for Private Banking and Private Wealth, delivering on our partnership arrangements with AIA, Hollard and Colonial First State (CFS) as well as a guidance & investing proposition for everyday Australians.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the business in the development of risk strategies, and procedures to ensure operation within risk appetite.
* Identifying, tracking, and monitoring of incidents/issues, their impacts and facilitating timely resolution.
* Liaising and collaborating with internal/external business stakeholders and partners to effectively review, monitor and manage the current and emerging risks of the portfolio.
* Protecting our customers by implementing initiatives which improve how risk decisions are made to promote the best customer outcome, including through the design and development of controls.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage deliverables across multiple products.
* Triage Change initiatives and provide risk advisory.
Qualifications
* Substantive experience in the operational risk and compliance craft.
* Proven experience in change management and delivering change initiatives.
* The ability to provide pragmatic and practical solutions to complex problems.
* Strong reasoning ability and negotiation and influencing skills, across a range of stakeholder groups.
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills with sound business commercial aptitude and knowledge.
* The ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, continuous learning and leading and building a positive workplace culture.
* A passion for delivering better customer outcomes, and comfortable working in a fast paced and changing environment.
