The opportunity:
We are searching for an experienced and proactive payroll officer to join our team on a 5 days per fortnight basis. Visualcare and MYOB experience would be highly regarded, as would experience in payroll outsourcing.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing fortnightly payroll transactions
* Payment of superannuation, PAYG and other regular payments
* Employee onboarding and offboarding
* First point of contact for payroll queries, triaging group email accounts, maintaining files and records
* Data quality and validation
* Payroll reconciliations and reporting
* Additional hours may be needed in peak annual periods
* Working in line with Interchange Australia's mission, values and behaviours
Role Criteria
We'd like to hear from you if you have the following experience and skills:
* Payroll experience; MYOB and/or Visualcare experience highly regarded
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Data entry speed and accuracy
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Capacity to work well both independently and as part of our team
* Proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement
