What you will be doing
* Apply awards, agreements and contracts so each pay reflects the work behind it
* Manage payroll changes end to end, including leave, super and salary packaging
* Keep payroll compliant across PAYG, FBT, STP, superannuation, payroll tax and workers compensation
* Reconcile payroll, submit third‐party payments and follow issues through to resolution
* Deliver month‐end and year‐end reporting with the Payroll Services and Finance teams
* Maintain payroll data across Aurion and Ohai, supporting system updates and award reviews
* Pitch in when needed, because we back each other!
You'll Thrive in this role if you
* Have 5+ years' payroll experience in a medium to large organisation
* Know Australian payroll legislation, awards and compliance inside out
* Are comfortable with end‐to‐end payroll reporting, reconciliations and leave accruals
* Use payroll systems and Excel confidently (experience with Aurion and Ohai is a bonus)
* Can explain payroll clearly to non‐financial colleagues and external partners
* Stay calm, organised and adaptable when priorities shift
* Work well independently, value teamwork, and treat confidentiality as non‐negotiable
* Are willing to complete the required criminal history checks
