Accounts Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer to join a project based organisation passionate about driving sustainability and clean energy. You will be integral to the smooth flow of month-end processes, system improvements and the trading of renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities

* End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
* Bank reconciliations, monthly reporting and payment runs
* Generation of purchase orders, invoices. RCTIs and expense claim approvals
* Assisting with month-end and financial reports
* Supporting weekly trades and monthly power purchase agreements with AEMO, landowners and joint venture partners
* Providing support to internal and external stakeholders
* Assisting in the testing, implementation and improvement of finance processes and systems
* Coordination of travel bookings and ad hoc

About you

* 2+ years of experience in a similar Accounts role
* Strong Accounts Payable, Receivable and reconciliations experience
* Comfortable working with large systems eg SAP, Xero, Concur and Netsuite
* High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience in project based industries eg construction, mining and oil
