About The Role
Join National Tiles as a Trade/Storeman based at our Grovedale store, where you will assist in our trade shop and warehouse, and provide exceptional customer service by guiding customers through their projects.
2 x Opportunities. Full-time: 38 hours per week (Tue-Sat roster). Part-time: 22.5 hours per week (Mon, Wed & Fri roster).
Key Responsibilities
* Greet customers with genuine warmth, making them feel welcome and valued
* Build and maintain strong relationships with our valued customers that drive repeat business
* Contribute to a store experience that reflects the highest industry standards, with care in every detail
* Provide expert product advice and recommendations, proactively driving sales across the full National Tiles range
* Recognise opportunities to upsell, cross-sell and re-engage inactive accounts
* Manage the end-to-end process from stock taking, quotes to delivery with accuracy and clear communication
* Manage stock arrivals and prepare customer orders by picking and packing
* Safely operate a forklift to assist with deliveries, arrivals and dispatch
* Champion a safe workplace following our health and safety practices
About You
* Motivated, results-driven, and passionate to achieve results
* Quick to adapt, multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* A confident communicator who builds trust and delivers great customer experiences
* A collaborative team player with a positive, safety-first mindset
* Physically capable of handling heavy items (in excess of 25kg) with safe lifting techniques
* Hold a forklift licence or willing to obtain one
