We are now seeking a Service & Hire Coordinator to join our Tasmanian branch, supporting service delivery, technician coordination and short-term rental administration across the state.

About The Role

This is a busy, hands-on coordination role supporting both field service operations and short-term hire administration. You will be the central point of contact for customers, technicians and internal teams, ensuring work is planned efficiently, jobs are invoiced accurately, and customers receive timely communication.

Role

You'll play a key role in maximising technician productivity, improving labour recovery, and delivering a seamless end-to-end service and hire experience. This will include:

Service & Technician Coordination
* Schedule and allocate jobs to field service technicians across Tasmania
* Monitor technician productivity, job progress and travel efficiency
Customer Service & Communication
* Receive and manage inbound service, rental and sales enquiries
* Maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
Hire & Rental Administration
* Support short-term rental administration including contracts, invoicing and payments
* Open, coordinate and close hire jobs pre- and post-rental
Quotes, Invoicing & Administration
* Prepare service and repair quotes and estimates
* Ensure all work is completed with a customer purchase order
* Invoice completed jobs within required timeframes
What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, enjoys juggling priorities, and takes pride in delivering great customer outcomes, bringing:

* Experience in service coordination, scheduling, administration or customer service
* Exposure to field service, heavy equipment, industrial, automotive or rental environments (advantageous)
* Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers and technicians
* Excellent organisation, time management and problem-solving skills
* Confidence using systems such as ERP, CRM or scheduling software
* A proactive, adaptable mindset with a strong sense of urgency
