About the role
We are seeking passionate, dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team at Kindred Support Pty Ltd in Wodonga, VIC. This is a part-time or casual opportunity to support individuals with disabilities and help them live independently and participate actively in the community.
What you'll be doing
* Providing personalised support and assistance to clients in their homes and in the community
* Helping participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
* Accompanying participants to appointments, social activities, and community events
* Promoting participants independence, choice, and social inclusion
* Maintaining detailed client records and contributing to the development of participants support plans
* Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
What we're looking for
* A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or a related field (or willingness to obtain)
* Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, either in a paid or voluntary capacity
* A genuine passion for supporting and empowering people with disabilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude
* A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* A current First Aid Certificate and Police Check
