Job Responsibilities
* Manage the financial and statutory accounting for the entity assigned.
* Prepare monthly financial reports, such as managing asset accounting, creating journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating year-end financial reports.
* Prepare WIP and provide recommendations on project profitability and cost optimization.
* Monitor trading costs and margins.
* Compute key financial indicators and provide trend analysis of financials.
* Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
* Monitor cashflow and prepare cashflow statement.
* Liaise with internal and external auditors for filing on time.
* Handle tax matters including the quarterly GST filing and corporate tax.
* Ad-hoc duties assigned and this may include review of policies and procedure.
Requirements
* Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications
* Must hold CPA certification or equivalent recognized in Australia
* At least 3 years of relevant working experience in construction
* Proficient in MS Office applications
* Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
* Meticulous and able to work independently
