About the role
Ibis Styles Canberra is looking for enthusiastic Front Office and Housekeeping team members to join our casual workforce. As a Front Office and Housekeeping team member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel. This is a casual role, offering flexible hours to suit your lifestyle.
What you'll be doing
1. Greeting and assisting guests at the front desk with check-in and check-out procedures
2. Answering guest inquiries and providing recommendations about the local area
3. Ensuring guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards
4. Replenishing room supplies and completing turndown service
5. Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the management team
6. Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene protocols
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
4. Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
5. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
