A long-standing, GP-owned mixed billing practice in Melbourne's south-east is seeking a part-time GP, to help meet patient demand following a recent retirement and maternity leave. Operating for over 40 years, this community-focused clinic has a strong reputation for providing continuity of care to multiple generations of families. With a diverse patient base, strong clinical support, and full control of consulting style, this is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to establish themselves in a non-corporate, friendly environment.
The Clinic

* 6-doctor team (4 males, 1 female, 1 on maternity leave)
* Mixed billing model, with a high percentage of private billings
* Strong focus on continuity of care, chronic disease management, and procedural work
* Full nursing support, including chronic disease management nurses
* Onsite pathology and allied health services for streamlined patient care
* Billings per consulting hour range from $271 to $416 (average $337 per hour)
The Location

Essential Criteria
* FRACGP and Specialist Registration in General Practice
* GP interested and able to cover a patient base largely consisting of womens health.
* Strong commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
* Interest in chronic disease management, procedural work, or developing special interests
The Package
* 65-70% of billings, based on experience, patient volume, and commitment
* 90% of billings for the first 3 months to help new doctors establish themselves
* Flexible working arrangements, with a preference for a GP available 2-4 days per week
* Full clinical autonomy in a supportive, non-corporate environment
* A loyal patient base, with demand for chronic disease management and longer consultations
