We are a newly launched, Gold Coast–owned ride-share company built to challenge the status quo of the transport industry. As we enter a key growth phase, we're seeking a highly creative, commercially minded Content Creator & Marketing Specialist to own our brand presence, content, and marketing execution across digital and traditional channels.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role suited to someone who thrives in a startup environment, can work autonomously, and understands how to turn creativity into measurable business growth. You'll play a critical role in shaping our brand identity, driving awareness, and supporting user and driver acquisition.
In this role, you will work closely with leadership and internal teams to ensure marketing and content initiatives are aligned with broader business priorities. You will support app launches, feature releases and promotional activity through integrated marketing campaigns, translating business objectives into compelling creative execution. You will also be responsible for ensuring all content and advertising complies with platform policies, advertising standards and relevant regulations, while maintaining accuracy, integrity and consistency across all public-facing brand communications.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Planning
* Develop, execute and optimise a comprehensive content strategy across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads and YouTube
* Plan and manage content calendars aligned with business goals, campaigns, launches and seasonal opportunities
* Ensure content supports brand awareness, app downloads, driver recruitment and customer engagement
Branding & Company Rebrand
* Contribute innovative ideas and creative direction for a company rebrand aligned with business goals, values and long-term vision
* Establish and maintain a strong brand identity, tone of voice and visual style that creates a clear point of difference within the ride-share industry
* Ensure brand consistency across all content, campaigns and touchpoints
Content Creation
* Plan, write, film, edit and publish high-quality content across multiple formats
* Produce a wide range of content including:
* Short-form and long-form social media videos
* Promotional and campaign content
* Educational and explainer content
* Customer and driver testimonials
* Behind-the-scenes and lifestyle content
* Coordinate and manage campaign shoots, including locations, talent and timelines where required
Social Media Management & Community Engagement
* Manage and maintain all social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding, messaging and posting frequency
* Actively engage with the community by responding to comments, direct messages and marketing enquiries
* Build and nurture a strong, engaged online community aligned with the brand's values
Virality, Growth & Performance
* Monitor social media trends, platform updates and algorithm changes to maximise reach, engagement and conversions
* Optimise content performance through testing, iteration and data-driven insights
* Track and analyse performance metrics including engagement, growth, conversions and ROI, providing regular reporting
Paid Advertising & Campaign Management
* Create, launch and manage paid advertising campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including:
* Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads
* TikTok Ads
* Sponsored posts and influencer collaborations
* PR partnerships
* Billboard and offline advertising (where applicable)
* Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, execute and optimise campaigns end-to-end
Budget Management
* Research, source and negotiate competitive rates for advertising, influencers, creators and media placements
* Compile and present campaign options and recommendations to stakeholders
* Assist in managing marketing budgets and streamlining approval processes
Innovation & Creative Leadership
* Conceptualise and deliver innovative, never-seen-before content ideas and campaigns
* Identify new platforms, formats and opportunities to support growth in a niche and competitive industry
* Continuously push creative boundaries while remaining aligned with commercial objectives
Tools & Resources
* Content creation and editing tools (e.g. Adobe Suite, CapCut, Canva or similar)
* Social media scheduling and management platforms (e.g. Meta Business Suite or equivalent)
* Platform-native and third-party analytics tools
* Company-provided systems, software and advertising accounts
In the first 3–6 months, success in this role will be demonstrated by:
* Consistent growth in reach, engagement and followers across priority platforms
* Increased brand awareness within the Gold Coast and broader Australian market
* Measurable contribution to app downloads, user sign-ups and driver acquisition
* Strong performance of paid campaigns, including efficient CPA and ROI
* Clear, actionable reporting on content and campaign performance

* Proven experience in content creation, social media marketing or digital marketing
* Experience owning content and social channels end-to-end
* Strong skills in filming, editing and producing engaging social content
* Comfortable working autonomously and making decisions in a fast-paced startup environment
* Strong understanding of both brand storytelling and performance-driven marketing
* Highly organised, proactive and creatively driven
Ideal but not mandatory
* Experience in startups, marketplaces or tech platforms
* Influencer, UGC or PR campaign experience
* Confidence appearing on camera or directing talent
* Familiarity with the Gold Coast market and community
