Senior Azure .NET Developer
Summary:
We are looking for a certified Azure developer with experience upgrading existing code to the latest development environments, to work with our large Federal Gov client.
Skills & Experience
Must-Haves:
* Australian Citizenship
* Azure Certified Developer (mandatory)
* Experience with modern .NET (Core/.NET 6+) including OAuth integration
* Proven experience with event-driven, message-based systems
* Strong hands-on experience with Azure SQL
* Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
* Microservices architecture experience, including service discovery, per-service OAuth token handling, API gateway pattern implementation, and externalised configuration management
* Practical experience in modernisation projects: Release management, Data migration to new systems
* Azure application troubleshooting and diagnostic experience
Desirable:
* Azure DevOps and/or Azure Architect certifications
* Experience with Azure Data Factory or other data pipeline tools
* The ability to engage well with stakeholders and develop strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders as required. Work in a collegiate and collaborative and inclusive manner to share knowledge and skills with team members, business peers and management.
* A strong culture of agile software development and change release activities for developing medium to complex solutions.
* The ability to upgrade existing code and provide clear and comprehensive system documentation.
* The ability to pick up abstract concepts quickly to assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution activities arising from operational incidents.
* Skills in Azure DevOps;
* Professional experience in a similar role preferably in IT/Federal Government is preferred.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly interfaces
* Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
