About theRole: The Project Manager, SSODeployment provides expert project management leadership anddirection to ensure the project is informed by evidence-basedresearch, and that strategies are delivered on time and withinbudget.
A key focus of this role will be to develop, coordinate andprogress the SSO Deployment Pilot, a co-funded project by theDepartment for Education (DfE) and the Australian government.
TheSSO Deployment Pilot is part of a suite of projects reducing with afocus on teacher workload reduction.
Ensuring alignment with theseprojects is a crucial aspect of the Project Manager's role.High-level cross-sectoral engagement and liaison between DfE,Catholic, and Independent schooling systems will also be a featureof the role.
The Project Manager works closelywith the Assistant Director, Inclusive Practices and the ProjectLead, SSO Deployment to determine project visions, goals, outcomes,priorities, and budget within the framework of corporate plans andobjectives of the directorate, division, and department.
The role involves workingcollaboratively with staff across the Support and Inclusiondivision, staff from other divisions, the non-government sectorsand a range of stakeholders.
The role will provide timely,strategic, informed, best practice project advice.
DesirableQualifications: Appropriate tertiaryqualification in a relevant discipline and/or relevant skillsand experience involving project management.SpecialConditions: The successful applicant isrequired to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working withchildren check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required tobe renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will berequired to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm,Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass)extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will berequired to be updated every three years.

Remuneration: ASO8 $121,107 - $125,679 perannum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation (11.5%) and leaveloading.
