Senior Network Engineer
Lead a major network migration for core banking technology!

FinXL is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading banking client on a core-banking application migration project. In this key role, you will design, implement, and hand over critical networking constructs to support large-scale migration phases. FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.
Responsibilities
* Deploy and configure complex networking constructs across Cisco ASA and ACI.
* Translate high-level design specifications into concrete firewall configurations.
* Execute passive and canary deployments and validate rule sets.
* Configure and manage F5 GTM and LTM appliances for traffic distribution.
* Prepare and execute rigorous change control and rollback procedures.
* Ensure high availability and disaster recovery compliance via F5 integration.
* Monitor post-deployment performance and maintain documentation for handover.
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI, and APIC environments.
* Proven track record in enterprise firewall policy deployment and troubleshooting.
* Expertise in configuring and supporting F5 GTM and LTM appliances.
* Solid understanding of network capacity planning and performance monitoring.
* CCNP / CCIE or equivalent industry certifications are highly regarded.
* Experience working within large-scale migration or data centre projects.
* Familiarity with foundational automation tools like Python, Ansible, or Terraform is highly desirable.
