Security Supervisor

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Security Supervisor. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the management of the site security team, ensuring the delivery of customer service focused security solutions and providing high quality leadership to your team and clients.
This position will be responsible for:
* For overseeing the day to day security operations
* Managing shift rosters including core and ADHOC shifts
o Providing leadership and operational support to security employees
o Managing quality systems to ensure compliance
o Service delivery quality assurance including auditing and reporting requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Minimum Certificate II in Security Operations
* Current Drivers License in State of employment
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
* Current Security License and Crowd Control License in State of employment
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Well-developed client service skills
* Customer Service experience
* Flexibility to work within a rotating 24/7 roster
* High personal integrity and grooming standards
* Proficiency with the MS Office Suite
* Ability to interpret and apply government legislation and regulations
* Security experience - preferably in a security or aviation transport environment
* Previous experience in a highly regulated environment
* Security officer experience, preferably in a retail/commercial environment
* Organised - outcome and deadline oriented

As a Security Officer at Westfield, you will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for shoppers, retailers, and visitors — while delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced retail setting.
What you’ll be doing

Providing professional, friendly front-line customer service

Responding to incidents including medical, emergency, and security-related events

Monitoring safety risks and reporting hazards or suspicious activity
*
Supporting centre operations through crowd management and de-escalation techniques
*
Assisting with emergency procedures and evacuation protocols
What you’ll need

Current SA Security Licence with Crowd Control function
*
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
*
Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus
*
Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
*
High standard of personal presentation and professionalism
