About the Position
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Corporate/Commercial Lawyer (4–6+ years PAE) to take a lead role within their Brisbane office. You’ll join a team trusted to manage the most intricate transactions and legal matters, from mergers and acquisitions to corporate advisory, restructures, governance, and joint ventures.
This isn’t just about doing the work — it’s about driving outcomes that shape businesses. You’ll engage directly with executives, boards, and founders, working closely on strategic matters and providing legal insight that guides long-term decisions.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and lead corporate and commercial transactions across multiple industries
* Provide strategic legal and commercial advice to high-level clients
* Handle M&A, restructures, shareholder agreements, and governance issues
* Deliver commercially driven outcomes that support long-term client goals
* Engage directly with key stakeholders and decision-makers
* Collaborate with interstate colleagues on multi-jurisdictional matters
About You
* 4–6+ years post-admission experience in corporate and/or commercial law
* Experience advising corporate clients on significant transactions
* Confidence in working independently and managing client relationships
* Commercial acumen and the ability to advise on risk and opportunity
* Drive to build your profile in the Brisbane legal and business market
* Professional presence and relationship-building capability
