About the Role
The Senior Design Researcher plays a pivotal role in driving high-quality research outcomes, developing and maintaining research partnerships, and ensuring research excellence. This position is responsible for leading research projects, providing expert advice, and mentoring junior research staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of prioritized research programs and projects.
* Deliver high-quality research outcomes and collateral, including research reports, white papers, articles, and slide decks.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on all stages of research projects, including research design, methodology, and analysis.
* Mentor and support project researchers and research team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Built Environment or Social Sciences).
* 3+ years of experience as a practice-based design researcher or related role in the Architecture | Engineering | Construction (AEC) industry, or a related field.
* Experience creating research collateral such as white papers, design guidelines, thought pieces, and client presentations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically evaluate research data and methods.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex research concepts to various audiences.
