About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tug Master with proven expertise in ASD Tug operations to join our team in our Townsville operations. This permanent, full-time position, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vessels within the port.
Note: This role is residential. There will be a preference for the successful candidate to reside in the Townsville area or relocate if successful.
Who We're Looking For
We're interested in professionals with solid towage industry experience and the following qualifications and skills:
At least 2 years of experience as a Tug Master in similar operations
Strong operational background with ASD/Tractor Tugs
Leadership and team collaboration skills
A proactive commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental best practices
Experience in administering and participating in drills and training as per port and maritime standards
Ability to work effectively with port operations teams
