**The role**
I.T. Help Desk / Technical Support Officer needed to join an inclusive team in **BAYSWATER, VICTORIA.**
**This is a Six-Month role, starting ASAP. Hours will be Monday to Friday, 8.30 am - 4.30 pm, with the flexibility required to work 7.00 am - 3.00 pm occasionally.**
**Main duties**
Reporting to the I.T. Infrastructure Manager, you will be one of three Help Desk Support Officers delivering **Level 1 support **in a larger team of ten**. Previous I.T. or Technical Help Desk experience is essential.**
Daily responsibilities include:
- Respond to Helpdesk telephone calls, mailbox requests, and walk-ins by providing technical support for major and minor computer systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve printing problems within the iSeries ASA400 and Windows environments.
- Complete authorised ad-hoc requests within SLA time commitments.
**Ideal skills**
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience within a Help Desk / Technical Support environment
- Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and attention to detail
- Be a self-motivated, quick learner
- Excellent computer skills / administrative skills
- Solid IT technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt
