About the role
We are seeking experienced and passionate Chefs to join our team at Grill Steak Seafood & SNUK Thai Tapas on Hardware Lane.
As an Chef - (Head Chef, Sous Chef's, CDP's, Cook or Prep chef, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our customers. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, showcasing your skills and creativity.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
2. Overseeing kitchen operations, including stock management, menu development and team management
3. Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and adheres to health and safety standards
4. Collaborating with the wider team to enhance the customer experience
5. Continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve culinary offerings
6. Placing food and supply orders
7. Assisting with training employees to company standards
8. Overseeing kitchen Labour & Food Costs to budgetary requirements.
9. Performing any additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested at any time.
10. Monitoring and controlling Wastage, portion controlled on day-to-day basis.
11. Ensuring OH&S safety standards
What we're looking for
1. Extensive experience as a Chef, with a strong background in the hospitality industry
2. Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
3. Excellent time management, organisational and problem-solving abilities
4. Ability to work in a team co-operatively
5. Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
6. A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and exceeding expectations
7. Relevant qualifications or certifications in the culinary arts
