We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Administrative Support Person to help us manage a variety of critical tasks and ensure the smooth operation of our office.
This role is initially for a 6 month period and we are looking to commit to the right person for 3,4 or 5 days per week.
About Us:
State-Wide Earthworks is a civil construction company involved in a range of industries including Civil Construction, Vegetation, Traffic Management and the Forest Industry.
As our Office Administrator, you\'ll play a pivotal role in supporting our operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle various office-related tasks such as scanning and filing documents, logging RTCIs, managing driver run sheets, maintaining our asset register, and more.
* Complete a range of monthly tasks related to our contracts with key clients, including compiling spreadsheets of works completed with supporting documentation, compiling Tasmanian Industry Participation Program and National Greenhouse and Energy reports using standardised templates, drafting invoices, and more.
* Manage employee training records, updating employee training records, liaising with training providers, including our Cert III in Civil Construction and First Aid Training providers.
* Oversee procurement, including PPE, office materials, training materials with established providers and coordinating first aid and fire extinguisher maintenance.
* Providing broad administrative support to our different business divisions including internal support program coordination, drafting invoices, and maintaining records.
About you
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
* Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
* Previous administrative or office management experience is a plus.
* A minimum of 6 months administrative or office management experience is required.
* Some experience in using Xero would also be a bonus.
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
* Qualifications and experience, particularly in a similar role, will also be highly valued.
