Job Description
As a Senior Consultant (Transport Planner) in ourMobility and Upstream Studiesteam, youwill play a key roleinshapingand deliveringmulti-modaltransport planning and transport advisoryprojects,supportingand coachingup-and-comingteam members,andworking collaborativelyto support businessdevelopment.
You willbe responsible for:
* Leadingand/or undertakingthe delivery oftransportplanning, strategy, advisory,and urban developmentprojects for key clientsacross the private and public sectors
* Providingtechnicalexpertiseand advice relating to transport planning andstrategyacross modes and sectorsin such areas as business cases, land use/transport integration, stakeholder and public engagement, economic evaluation, investigations and analysis, impact assessments, design, publicand activetransportand strategic transport planning
* Developinghigh quality bids, clientreportsand other deliverables
* Undertakingsupporting analysis for business cases and other necessary studies and projects for clients
* Supportinginternal cross-team collaboration andinternal briefs to integrate traffic engineering, modelling, operations and maintenance and other streams to support client objectives
* Managingthe successful delivery of concurrent projects through thedifferent stagesof the project lifecycle and supportingthe delivery of strategic transport advisory projects
* Buildingpositive and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
* Buildingandmaintainingstrong external client relationships andcontributingto the strategic growth of the transportation planning sector byidentifyingand securing related business opportunities with key and emerging clients
* RepresentingEgispublicly, providing thought leadership andincreasingawareness of the local and global achievements.
Qualifications
Ideally, you will have7-10yearsprior experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment, in addition you will also have:
* Tertiaryqualifications ina relevant discipline such asUrban Planning, Transport Planning,Geography,Economics,DataAnalytics,Traffic Engineeringor similar
* Demonstratedexperiencein developing and deliveringtransport planning, urban planning, placemaking, business cases,developmentand transport assessmentsfor clients in the public and private sector
* Proven project managementand project financeskills across full life cycle of projects
* Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills to communicate with stakeholdersat all levels
* Well-developed critical thinking andproblem-solvingcapability
* Demonstratedcollaboration skills
* Coachingskills, advanced graphics skills, advanced dataanalysisandservice offering development will all be highly regarded.
