Job Description

This is a pivotal 6‐month contract role within our Community & Partnerships team, where you'll shape how Youturn is seen, heard and felt across the community.
You'll collaborate closely with the Program Manager – Communication and Partnerships to elevate our brand, amplify our impact, and tell authentic stories that resonate with young people, funders, partners and the wider community.

About The Role
As the Brand and Marketing Coordinator, you will be the custodian of the Youturn brand, ensuring consistency, creativity and connection across all channels.
You'll work across digital, design, social media, events and campaigns, translating our mission into compelling content and meaningful engagement. Your work will help build awareness, trust and support for Youturn's programs and the people we walk alongside every day.
This role suits someone who is equally strategic and hands‐on, confident working autonomously while thriving in collaboration.
Brand, Marketing & Communications
* Champion the rollout and correct application of the Youturn brand across all digital and printed materials
* Design and create engaging, on‐brand content for social media, web, video and print
* Develop and maintain templates to support consistent branding across the organisation
* Coordinate merchandise design and production
* Curate and publish compelling social media content that strengthens brand voice, reputation and community connection
* Stay across digital trends and sector activity to keep Youturn relevant and engaging
Campaigns, Events & Storytelling
* Co‐develop and deliver marketing strategies, campaigns and fundraising initiatives
* Support tender and grant applications through strong visual and written content
Digital Platforms & Systems
* Maintain and update the organisation's website (WordPress)
* Manage communications with donors, supporters and stakeholders through CRM systems
* Track marketing KPIs and provide clear monthly reporting for leadership and the Board
Internal Communications & Collaboration
* Develop engaging internal communications and manage key intranet content
* Work closely with Leaders to support branding and marketing needs

Essential
What You'll Need
* A relevant degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, communications, design or related fields
* Experience in marketing, graphic design and content creation
* Demonstrated capability using Adobe Creative Suite (design and video)
* Experience with social media, WordPress and CRM systems
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience working in (or alongside) the community services or not‐for‐profit sector
* A current C Class Driver's Licence
* A current Working With Children Check (e.g. Blue Card)
