Disability Support Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker.
This role requires providing individualised support to participants with varying abilities and needs. You will work directly with participants and their families to deliver human-centred support and promote inclusion.
* Provide one-to-one support to participants, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, families, and community networks to ensure seamless support.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred plans that cater to each participant's unique requirements.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for participants.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
* A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with participants, families, and colleagues.
* Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude to provide high-quality support.
* Experience working in a similar role within the disability sector (desirable but not required).
* A relevant qualification in disability services or a related field (an advantage).
