Logwin is a well-established European freight forwarder seeking a Business Development Manager for an immediate start in Perth. As a top-20 global freight forwarder, Logwin develops comprehensive logistics and service solutions for a broad customer base across all vertical markets.
Reporting to the Sales Manager WA and National Sales Manager, the key purpose of this role is to identify, develop, and implement successful sales activities aligned with strategic objectives and trade lane targets.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Planning, organising, and managing sales and marketing campaigns in line with local, global, and regional sales initiatives.
* Identifying growth strategies within existing Logwin customers and actively developing their business spend with us.
* Leading trade lane development with selected target countries, particularly India and the UAE.
* Developing and executing a business development strategy for key vertical markets, with defined sales targets.
* Approaching and re-engaging lost customers.
* Liaising with internal and external resources across national and overseas branches to optimise the sales drive.
* Building a qualified pipeline of logistics customers across various industries to achieve both long- and short-term objectives.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with specific key account customers.
Preferred Profile:
* A successful track record in business development or key account management within international freight forwarding.
* Minimum of five years' industry experience.
* Experience in active trade lane development, particularly between India and Australia, is preferred.
* A strong drive for results: consistently exceeds goals and is highly bottom-line oriented.
* Excellent relationship-building skills across various organisational levels.
* Confident and clear verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities to adapt to changing tasks and customer needs.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills, with the ability to maximise value through effective client relationship management.
