About the role
The Education Administrator Senior Secondary plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive administrative support across the full student lifecycle, from pre-enrolment through to successful course completion. Working closely with the Head of Department, Principal Secondary Programs, educators and other administrative staff, the role supports the implementation of efficient, consistent processes that enable effective teaching and learning.
Through regular collaboration with a wide range of departments across TAFE Gippsland, the Education Administrator Senior Secondary contributes to a seamless, coordinated and positive experience for students. A strong focus on compliance is integral to the role, ensuring all legislative and organisational requirements are met and that established policies and procedures are consistently upheld.

* A proven ability to collaborate effectively within team environments
* Strong relationship-building skills and the capacity to foster collaboration across diverse business areas
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling clear and professional engagement with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
* A proactive approach, with well-developed problem-solving abilities and sound judgement
* Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all areas of work
* Strong proficiency in technology, including the Microsoft Office suite, database systems and student management platforms, with a high level of data-entry skills
Qualifications and experience
* Significant administrative experience (at least 3 years) in an administration role
* A post secondary level qualification in a business administration or customer service-related field would be treated favourably
* Experience working in education, a school environment or the TAFE sector is highly desirable
* Experience working as part of a team
Mandatory requirements
* Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
* Current Police Check (no older than 12 months old)
* Current Driver's Licence (some travel between campuses may be required)
The role is subject to a 6 month probationary period
