About The Role
The Crew Leader Aquatic Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of pools and leisure facilities. This role involves leading a team of lifeguards and cleaners to ensure the highest standards of safety and customer service are upheld. You will collaborate closely with the Team Leader to manage staff performance, maintain facility standards, and enhance service delivery.

In this position, you will be expected to contribute positively to the community, ensuring that all aquatic services are delivered effectively and efficiently.

We are seeking an adaptable and motivated individual with a strong background in aquatic operations. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills and interpersonal attributes that enable effective team leadership and customer engagement.

* Certificate IV Community Recreation (Pool Operations Certificate) or relevant experience.
* Current Pool Lifeguard Licence and Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current Drivers Licence
* Demonstrated experience in pool maintenance and lifeguarding.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Successful candidates will be committed to safety, quality service, and continuous improvement, with excellent communication skills to foster relationships with stakeholders and the community.

Other Important Information

* The commencing salary for this position is up to $76.9k per annum. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $89.1k per annum on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation
* We have a permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week Monday - Sunday.
* This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
* This role is located at the Gosford Olympic Pool and may work at the Peninsula Leisure Centre.

Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
