* Preferably be studying towards or hold an Early Childhood Teacher degree
* Have previous experience in a leadership role/Director role
* Be able to share ideas in terms of occupancy building
* Confident with the assessment/rating process and has systems in place to ensure compliance is maintained at all times
* Have a sound understanding of the Cycle of planning and the documentation process for children's learning
* Have prior experience in office admin, related to record-keeping, compliance checks, risk assessments and maintaining our current self-assessment tool
* Can work in a fast pace environment and has the ability to manage/support the team
* Operated and have experience in managing a large service with 150+ children per day
* Be an advocate for building strong relationships with the local community
* Be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of NQS, NQF and EYLF
* Possess sound understanding and experience in programming and planning for children aged 0 to 6
* Hold current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management qualifications
* Hold a Working With Child Check clearance (or completed the application process for a new Check)
* Be a positive mentor and advocate for children and educators
Responsibilities and expectations
* Lead and co-manage the centre operations to support high-quality early childhood education and care
* Develop strategies for occupancy growth and community engagement
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain systems for ongoing assessment and rating
* Oversee cycle of planning and documentation for children's learning
* Manage administrative duties related to record-keeping, compliance checks, risk assessments, and the self-assessment tool
* Lead a team in a fast-paced environment and provide mentorship to educators
* Operate and manage a large service (150+ children per day)
Qualifications
* Preferably studying towards or holding an Early Childhood Teacher degree
* Experience in a leadership/Director role
* Strong knowledge of NQS, NQF and EYLF
* Experience in programming and planning for children aged 0 to 6
* Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management qualifications
* Working With Children Check clearance (or in the process of obtaining one)
