About the Opportunity

South Western Sydney Local Health District BreastScreen is a NSW state‐funded service that delivers high‐quality breast screening and assessment clinics across Southwestern Sydney.

Role Summary

Multi‐skilled Administration Officer is responsible for the day‐to‐day reception and administrative functions at both fixed and mobile sites, and for implementing site policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and escort visitors, ensuring a welcoming and client‐focused environment.
  • Provide telephone reception, manage call handling and appointment booking.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate electronic patient records.
  • Assist with recruitment support and recruitment data management.
  • Coordinate minor maintenance tasks and liaise with facilities staff.
  • Collaborate with the Administration Manager on client engagement, feedback and policy changes.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Female applicants are recognised as a genuine occupation qualification under section 31(2h) of the Anti‐Discrimination Act 1977.
  • Proven administration/reception/telephone booking/data entry experience in a high‐volume customer health service setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and fast, accurate data entry with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‐disciplinary team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of issues affecting women from non‐English speaking backgrounds.
  • Australian C‐class driver's licence (including P1 or P2). Licences issued outside NSW must be converted to an NSW C‐class (P1 or P2) within three months of appointment.
