Front Office Receptionist – The Role

Offering best-in-class customer service, you will be the first point of contact for all Essence guests and visitors. You will make accurate and timely reservations, respond to enquiries via phone and email in a proficient manor and endeavour to achieve a positive guest experience for all. Putting your upselling techniques to good use, you will promote our properties and the Essence brand to maximise room occupancy and promote available hotel services and facilities. Employing your knowledge of local areas, you will offer insights and make recommendations to our guests during their visit.

Experience & Skills

We believe that attitude is everything in this position, so we are looking for reliable team players with a can-do attitude. Your engaging and bubbly personality along with your exceptional communication skills will contribute to enhancing overall guest experience from check-in through to check-out. You will be okay with working in a changing environment, and will have the ability to remain calm, efficient and organised during peak periods. Solid admin and computer skills are also essential in this role.

Ideally you will have hotel or conferencing events experience and/or strong administration skills and will be motivated for a career at Essence Hotels and Suites. Previous hotel experience preferred and knowledge of RMS advantageous.

Our mandatory requirements include:

* Eligibility to work in Australia.
* National Police Check (completed within the last 3 months)
