Overview
Ozbrick Masonry is seeking an experienced and skilled Bricklayer to join our growing team in New South Wales. We specialise in high-quality brick and block construction for residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Laying bricks, pre-cut stone, and concrete blocks in mortar
* Constructing and repairing walls, partitions, arches, and other brick structures
* Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
* Measuring and cutting materials to required size
* Mixing mortar and ensuring correct alignment and levelling
* Performing repairs and maintenance on existing brickwork
* Ensuring all work complies with Australian building standards and safety regulations
Skills & Experience Required
* Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
* Ability to read construction drawings
* Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
* Reliable, physically fit, and able to work in a team environment
* Applicants must demonstrate the ability to perform tasks to a high standard and work independently when required.
