About the Opportunity
This hands‑on role involves a broad range of gardening and grounds maintenance tasks, including:
* Landscaping and garden care
* Planting, pruning and irrigation support
* Grounds maintenance across multiple ECH sites
* Basic technical tasks such as paving installation and irrigation repairs
About You
This role is a great fit if you:
* Are currently studying or recently completed a Horticulture, Landscaping or Irrigation qualification,
* Are considering a career change and bring transferable skills—such as practical outdoor work experience, customer service, teamwork, or problem solving
* Enjoy being outdoors and take pride in creating welcoming, functional outdoor spaces
* Can work independently and as part of a team
* Communicate respectfully with older clients and understand the importance of their experience
Hands-on experience in gardening or grounds maintenance will be highly regarded but is not essential if you bring enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and relevant transferable skills.
Essential Criteria
* National Police Check
* Driver’s Licence
* First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling
Desirable
* Qualification (completed or in progress) in Horticulture, Landscaping Construction or Irrigation
* Experience in gardening, landscaping or general outdoor maintenance
