Hero Sushi Tuggerah are looking to add talented, friendly, people to our team. We have been serving guests in the Westfield Shopping Centre for many years now. We are continuously looking at ways to improve what we do, to benefit our guests and our team.
We have a sushi conveyor which guests can help themselves from, picking out a multitude of sushi and Japanese style dishes. As well as a made to order Menu, giving a huge variety to choose from. We are committed to hiring local people with a customer orientated mentality. We want our guests to feel welcome, cared about and served to the highest possible standard while visiting our restaurant. We promote a team environment and are looking for people to add some individuality to our organisation. Being fun, friendly and enthusiastic would be desirable! After an initial training and getting to know period, the right candidate will be offered a full time contract, giving security and reliability to both parties.
General work will involve...
• Welcoming our guests with a friendly outgoing personality, smiling as often as possible
• Taking orders for sushi and other Japanese dishes
• Clearing tables, turning tables quickly in an efficient/polite manner
• Processing bill payments using eftpos and POS systems ensuring smooth running of all business activities.
• Working as part of a team to provide the very best in customer service and being able to work unsupervised while still reaching high standards of service
• General cleaning of the restaurant is also necessary and we hope you take pride in all aspects of work.
• Full training will be given, yet, some shifts and some parts of shifts will be helping our kitchen department also. Creating menu dishes, of a variety of different things.
