Our International Engagement Portfolio ensures the ongoing successful marketing of the University and our many programs at an international level. This includes the recruitment and admission of international students and the establishment and ongoing management of key international partnerships. The UniSQ International Partnerships team is recognised as the driving force in the building of UniSQ’s profile and ongoing performance in the international student attraction space.


An opportunity is now available for an International Development Officer to join our International Engagement Portfolio for six months and help shape the future of international research and education at UniSQ.


Who You Are


You are a proactive and detail focused professional who enjoys working in a fast paced, internationally focused environment. You bring a service oriented mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. You communicate confidently and value accuracy, professionalism, and building positive relationships.


What you'll do


This role offers exposure to international engagement operations within a higher education context and the opportunity to build valuable experience in partnership administration and compliance. Your responsibilities will include:


* Supporting contract process management for international partnership agreements in line with legislative, contractual and University requirements
* Assisting with compliance activities relating to international education and overseas students
* Providing project support including desktop research, document drafting, data collection and event coordination
* Maintaining accurate records, statistical data and documentation using a range of systems and tools

What will help you succeed


To thrive in this role, you will require a university qualification with relevant experience in a higher education or administrative environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as well as:


* Strong capability to manage high volumes of work and competing priorities
* Demonstrated ability to accurately manage data, documentation and reporting, with proficiency using a range of computer systems and software tools
* Confidence interpreting policy and following operational procedures
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to support professional documentation in an international setting

Salary: Total remuneration range $94,129 to $106,754 pa (includes salary range of $79,383 to $90,031 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
