About the opportunity
The School of Psychology is currently seeking a
Research Assistant (Psychology)
to play a key role in shaping innovative research. In this position, you will contribute to the development of research protocols and lead the execution of critical research activities.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the research team to support the development and validation of a new clinical measure of childhood adversity.
Assist with recruitment, screening, and coordination of participants, including individuals from vulnerable populations.
Conduct research interviews and assessments in accordance with ethical and culturally safe research practices.
Manage data entry, cleaning, and basic analysis to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Coordinate project logistics, including scheduling, materials preparation, and communication with community and clinical partners.
Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and ethics or governance documentation to support the research program.

Proficiency in research software and solid computer literacy.

Ability to coordinate grant applications and conduct literature searches.
Experience managing, reporting, and disseminating research data.
Background in research-intensive environments and higher education.
