About the role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a technical recruiter with a passion for the energy sector to join our Engineering and Construction division. This role is a key position that will focus on the significant growth in renewable energy while maintaining strong ties to existing clients. In this role, you will connect with highly technical engineering professionals. We are open to a Consultant, Senior or Principal.
What you'll be doing:
* Recruit for both temporary and permanent technical engineering roles, including mechanical and electrical engineers.
* Engage in proactive business development and manage key client accounts.
* Leverage your strong technical understanding to source niche, high‑calibre candidates.
* Travel to client sites to maintain strong relationships and identify new business opportunities.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant with a strong background in technical recruitment, specifically within mechanical and electrical engineering.
* Direct experience in the renewables, power, or energy sectors is highly desirable.
* A thick‑skinned, resilient, and independent individual who can manage client demands.
* Valid Driver's Licence: A must-have for client site visits. You'll need your own car and can claim kilometres.
