As an experienced Quality Coordinator, you will drive improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing methods and ensure our products are safe, sustainable, and meet our customer needs.
With customer-focused thinking, you will contribute to various continuous improvement projects related to product quality.
Reporting to and working in close collaboration with our Technical Manager, You will verify that ongoing inspection, measuring, and testing is undertaken in all manufacturing areas in accordance with site document procedures.
With your attention to detail, you will ensure inspection measuring and test equipment calibration is in line with corporate and site calibration procedures.
As a part of our site audit team, you will also perform Internal auditing of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
You will uphold a high standard of compliance and will work with inspecting and testing teams to control and assure our manufactured products are quality compliant.
With a strategic mindset, you will review the disposition of quarantined products on-site and assist in meeting site budgets and KPIs for wasted and reworked products.
Overall, you will play a key role in building and delivering the safest and highest quality products to our customers.
**Key Technical Criteria**:
- Diploma or Degree in Materials or Metallurgy
- Trade qualifications in Toolmaking, Fabrication, or welding.
- Demonstrated experience working in an engineering manufacturing workshop.
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of Ferrous materials, with specific knowledge of Chromium White Irons is preferred.
