Our valued client, Yarra Fuels Pty Ltd t/as BP Yarrawonga, is a trusted integrated energy company with a long-standing presence across Yarrawonga, Victoria, delivering fuel, energy, retail, and mobility solutions to a wide range of customers.
As part of their ongoing growth and commitment to high-quality service, the company is currently seeking to employ a Retail Manager to keep precise records of inventory movements, stock on hand, and financial transactions. You will plan and oversee the advertising and promotional activities to grow the store's customer base. You will be responsible for overseeing and controlling the store’s budget by establishing revenue targets, projecting expenses, and tracking spending.
The annual salary for this position is $76,515 to $77,000 plus superannuation.
Responsibilities include (not limited to):
* Overseeing the selection and management of the store's product range, ensuring stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand, and establishing adequate service standards.
* Preparing and managing the store's budget, including setting revenue targets, forecasting expenses, and monitoring expenditure.
* Developing and executing purchasing and marketing policies as per the local market, and setting retail prices, competitor pricing, and profitability targets.
* Planning and overseeing advertising and promotional activities to grow the store's customer base, including coordinating in-store signage, seasonal promotions, and community-facing marketing initiatives.
* Engaging with customers by selling products and services, addressing inquiries, and providing detailed advice on product features and usage to improve customer satisfaction.
* Overseeing staff recruitment and selection processes, onboarding new team members, coordinating shift rosters, facilitating training, and supervising day-to-day staff performance.
* Keeping precise records of inventory movements, stock on hand, and financial transactions, ensuring all documentation is current and readily accessible for operational and compliance purposes.
* Ensuring the store meets all regulatory obligations relevant to the retail sector, with particular attention to occupational health and safety compliance, risk assessments, and the maintenance of a safe environment for staff and customers.
* Maintaining consistency across the retailer's multi-channel operations to ensure that pricing structures, product offerings, promotional campaigns, and service delivery policies remain uniform across all customer touchpoints.
